Natural, eco-friendly and ethically-conscious, Elephas

This last time, we complained a lot about the plastic packagings of beauty products. Like most women, we love testing new cosmetics. Previously, we mostly chose products with natural ingredients. Now we put it to another level and select beauty products according to their packaging. That’s why the simple soap bar made a big come back in our daily beauty routine.

Plant-based, ecological and ethical, we introduce you Elephas soap. Our last beauty favorite! It’s made from a gentle cleansing base and contains only natural ingredients like shea butter, desert date and baobab tree oil that nourish the skin. It has a delicate fragrance and is ideal for everyday cleansing, both face, and body.

We can all agree that waste is becoming more and more of a problem nowadays. Plastic is everywhere. And if it goes on like that, the future of our planet is in danger. Concerned about the environment, we have decided to pay more attention to also what’s outside products we buy. Elephas’ packaging is made of paper – so can be easily recycled and also really eye-catching.

The soap is handmade by women in Burkina Faso. Elephas supports women’s entrepreneurship and empowerment. But the brand is involved in several other solidarity projects such as “1% For The Planet” and sustainable development. And that’s not all, because it also fights to protect elephants’ natural habitats. As you can see, such wonderful initiatives!

Furthermore, all Elephas products are vegan, manufactured without cruelty, gluten, and chemicals. We highly recommend them to vegans and to those for whom the preservation of the environment is a priority! It is well worth 8€ for the benefit not only of our skin but especially African women, our planet, and animals. Each soap sold means 1 kg of cereals for a woman in the group and 1 meal at school for a street child in Ouagadougou.

Remember that in order to extend the durability of your soap it is recommended to choose a soap holder with holes!
