Many cosmetic brands have recently gone crazy about active charcoal. Creams, cleansers, toothpaste and of course the most popular among them- charcoal masks. And all this is due to its amazing cleansing, antibacterial and anti-inflammatory properties. It is important to point out that this is exactly the same charcoal that we usually use in all kinds of stomach problems. Used internally removes toxins from the body and works perfectly in case of food poisoning. Coal is also good for insomnia, headaches, asthma, ulcers, and even frequent nosebleeds and tinnitus! And besides it is 100% natural and safe.
Applied externally exhibits similar detoxifying action on the skin. It’s especially recommended for mixed and oily skins – removes excess of sebum, cleanses the blackheads, minimizes pores. But to notice its beneficial effect, it must remain on the skin for at least 10 minutes!
It is cheap, easy to access, natural and exceptionally gentle on the skin, so we recommend our recipes for homemade cosmetics using activated coal. This is a great alternative to expensive and full of doubtful ingredients products!
Best for problematic skins with acne and blemishes. Improves the condition of mixed and oily complexion, grey with discoloration and enlarged pores. Cleanses and refreshes. Its ingredients can be modified according to individual needs. To your mask you can add favorite oil or hydrolate. Today we have got for you a version with another great component – green clay!
Preparation: Mix 3-4 capsules of carbon with a teaspoon of green clay, then add a little bit of water (or hydrate / oil …) and mix together to a dense paste. The resulting mixture can be applied as needed, only to the T zone or the whole face. Leave to dry completely, about 25-30 minutes and then wash.
For best results, we recommend to use it 2 times a week.
